All Alexandria Reads 2008

Marley & Me by John Grogan

"TAIL" OF ONE CITY - This spring, Alexandria Library invites its community to read Marley & Me Life and Love with the World’s Worst Dog by John Grogan.

Facilitated by Alexandria Library, this program is a community-based reading cooperative designed to create a dialog about reading.

Publisher's Weekly writes: “Labrador retrievers are generally considered even-tempered, calm and reliable; and then there's Marley, the subject of this delightful tribute to one Lab who doesn't fit the mold.... Dog lovers will love this account of Grogan's much loved canine."

All are invited to read John Grogan’s heartwarming book, with and editions for young adults and children, and partake in activities and discussions planned around the City of Alexandria in relation to the themes and topics of the book and other related books.
