The user places script on a platform and it is magnified on a screen in front of them It helps when viewing photographs, personal mail, balancing a checkbook or reading a book. This can be done in color or black & white.
Kurzweil Personal Reader:
An optical scanner that reads typeset or typewritten text and turns it into speech. It can read single typed sheets or bound books and magazines.
Screen reader software offers screen reading capability to blind or visually impaired computer users allowing them to access education and job related applications for browsing the web, or reading or writing e-mail messages.
A screen reading program which allows access to Microsoft Windows and compatible applications through synthesized speech output.
